- Alebrije is the only boss that cannot be attacked in the series, if you try to do so, Alebrije will instantly kill Juan Aguacate.
- Alebrije survives in the Darkest Timeline.
Guacamelee![]
Alebrije in Guacamelee! first appears in the Rain Temple sleeping then as Juan comes back from the Goat Jump Choozoo Statue it appears to have escaped. Next Juan meets up with Tostada who tells him the ceremony is over. Then the Alebrije in Guacamelee! then appears, crashing through a wall to chase Juan after he arrives late to the already complete ceremony. Alebrije is obviously commanded by Calaca and X’tabay to wait for Juan to kill him. Instead of killing Juan the Alebrije gets killed by Juan. This being in Guacamelee!/Good Timeline Timeline. The second appearance is in the Darkest Timeline when after escaping Inferno, in X’tabay’s Alebrije Sanctuary, you find the alternate dimension Alebrije sleeping. More of it’s babie’s as well, then it opens it’s eyes for a split second, but then keeps on peacefully sleeping.
